CDL Class B - Waste Collection

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a residential rear loader with helper, residential automated side loader, roll off, or commercial front end loader waste hauling truck that provides residential trash and recycling, industrial or commercial trash pickup. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

As part of Ecowaste Solutions' application process, and to be considered for any position at Ecowaste Solutions, please complete the Culture Index Survey (CI) along with your application. Once we receive your completed CI Survey, your application will then be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years
• CDL Class A/B
