Position Senior Data Center Development Engineer – Full‑time, hybrid. Report to the Vice President of Project Development & Delivery in Dallas / Fort Worth, TX. About the Role As a central member of the site origination, master planning, and front‑end engineering teams, this role transforms early‑stage opportunities into build‑ready data center campuses. Responsibilities Lead site master planning and conceptual design for new data center campuses. Drive front‑end engineering to ensure designs are scalable, buildable, and operationally efficient. Translate development opportunities into technically sound, execution‑ready plans. Partner across development, engineering, innovation, and construction teams. Manage architectural and engineering consultants from concept through detailed design. Ensure alignment with IREN’s design roadmap, codes, and regulatory requirements. Support site due diligence, feasibility studies, and design standardization efforts. Facilitate smooth handover from development to delivery. Qualifications ~10+ years in data center, mission‑critical, or large‑scale infrastructure design/development. Background in engineering or architecture. Experience with campus master planning and front‑end design. Strong understanding of data center systems, constructability, and design standards. Ability to lead consultants and manage cross‑functional stakeholders. Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus annual performance incentives and equity opportunities.
