Krieger Scientific is hiring an experienced Calibration Technician to support active projects and service contracts with life sciences clients in the Exton, Pennsylvania area. This is a full time, hourly position scheduled for 40 hours per week and is part of a dedicated Krieger Scientific team supporting the client's calibration program through a staff augmentation engagement.

This is a precision focused role for a compliance minded professional who understands the critical relationship between instrument accuracy, data integrity, and regulatory standing in a GMP environment. The Calibration Technician will focus primarily on hands on calibration activities while working closely with the Calibration Program Manager, other Krieger Scientific team members, and the client's management team to support the ongoing calibration needs of the facilities.

What You Will Do:

• Perform calibration of instruments and equipment within client facilities in accordance with established procedures, SOPs, manufacturer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Perform calibration activities across multiple equipment types and measurement parameters, including temperature, pressure, flow, weight, and other critical measurements.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and generate certificates of calibration in compliance with Good Documentation Practices, ISO standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Identify out of tolerance conditions, support deviation reporting and investigation activities, and communicate findings clearly to client and Krieger Scientific team members.
• Support the development and maintenance of calibration programs, procedures, equipment records, and schedules as needed.
• Identify and contribute to Continuous Improvement efforts for Krieger Scientific and its clients.
• Work closely with the Calibration Program Manager and client management team to execute established calibration schedules and priorities.
• Support the assessment of instruments and equipment to determine whether calibration activities can be performed internally or require specialized outside calibration services.
• Coordinate with the Calibration Program Manager when outside vendors or specialized calibration services are required.
• Accurately document completed work within the client's maintenance and calibration management systems.
• Support calibration program activities within Blue Mountain or other maintenance management software used by the client.
• Support calibration activities across nearby client locations and travel between sites as required based on calibration schedules and business needs.
• Work collaboratively with client personnel, Krieger Scientific team members, and outside calibration providers as required.
• Maintain a strong focus on instrument accuracy, data integrity, safety, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

What We Are Looking For:

• Hands on calibration experience in a GMP regulated life sciences environment, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device.
• Familiarity with common calibration standards and traceability requirements.
• Experience with temperature, pressure, flow, weight, and other critical measurement parameters.
• Strong documentation skills and a disciplined approach to data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to identify and properly document out of tolerance conditions.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently while functioning effectively as part of a larger calibration team.
• Ability to manage daily calibration priorities in an environment with a large instrument population and recurring calibration requirements.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance or calibration management systems. Experience with Blue Mountain is helpful.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with client personnel, Krieger Scientific team members, and outside service providers.
• Ability and willingness to work across multiple nearby client locations as required.

• Valid driver's license.

• Must meet applicable prescreening health and safety requirements.
• Must successfully complete required drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Schedule and Environment:

This is a full time, hourly position scheduled for 40 hours per week. The position is primarily onsite at client facilities in the Exton, Pennsylvania area. Technicians should expect to work at different client locations based on scheduled calibration activities and business needs. The position is intended for a locally based technician and is not structured as an overnight travel assignment.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly compensation, commensurate with experience.
