This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify. What You Will Be Doing: The Recorder's Office - UCC Central File unit provides filing and customer service for the State of Alaska. Daily tasks include but are not limited to: Provide excellent customer service and assistance to the general public in person and over the phone. Examine and file UCC filings electronically, by mail, and in person in compliance with UCC Revised Article 9 and Alaska statutes and regulations, rejecting filing submissions that do not meet filing requirements. Prepare and certify copies, UCC-11 search requests, and retention-required documentation. Process fees, handle cash, issue receipts, and balance deposits to ensure accuracy. Data entry by indexing and verifying information extracted from the filed documents.
