Key Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and assessments, ensuring each interaction is approached with kindness and respect.
• Modify treatment plans and therapeutic exercises as instructed, always prioritizing the needs and comfort of each patient.
• Instruct and supervise patients during therapeutic exercises, imparting guidance with patience to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Utilize various modalities, including heat, cold, and electrical stimulation therapies, to alleviate pain and enhance function, all while monitoring patient safety.
• Educate patients and their families on effective techniques for performing prescribed exercises at home, fostering independence in their rehabilitation.
• Thoroughly document treatment outcomes and any changes in patient progress, ensuring that all records are accurate and respectful.
• Engage in regular, effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records while adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices in documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• A thorough understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, paired with a strong desire to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
