When you join our team, you can apply your unique life and job experiences and work in an environment where your ideas are heard, your contributions are celebrated, and your whole-self matters.Role DefinitionEvaluates trade compliance activities, controls, and risk management practices; supports assessments and reviews designed to ensure compliance with applicable global trade laws and strengthen the effectiveness of trade compliance controls, policies, procedures, and risk mitigation activities.Responsibilities• Supports trade compliance assessments, reviews, and assurance activities to evaluate the effectiveness of established policies, procedures, controls, and risk mitigation measures.• Reviews trade compliance activities, documentation, and transactional data to identify compliance risks, control gaps, process weaknesses, and opportunities for continuous improvement.• Interacts with business partners to gather information, support assessments, discuss observations, and assist in the development of corrective actions.• Assists with management of assessment documentation, record-keeping requirements where applicable, corrective action tracking, and preparation of analyses and materials for management review.Degree RequirementDegree or equivalent experience desiredSkill DescriptorsInternational Trade: Knowledge of the markets, issues, regulations, practices and operations of international trade; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations.Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.Customer Support Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of the organization's customer support policies, standards and procedures; ability to guide customers on all company interactions.Additional Information:This position requires incumbents to be onsite in the Irving, TX office five days per week.Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
