Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 16-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | No Weekends | Limited Call (5:30 PM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-volume operating room environment across a variety of surgical specialties
• Assist surgical teams during procedures utilizing robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robotic systems
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper handling of instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout procedures
• Support a 1:1 patient ratio within an ambulatory surgical center setting
• Adhere to all facility protocols, dress code requirements, and documentation standards using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room scrub technologist experience
• Demonstrated robotics experience (Intuitive/da Vinci system)
• Trauma surgical experience required
• Strong ENT surgical background required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Dental
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Flexible, accountable, punctual, and team-oriented work style
