Real Estate Litigation Associate

A well-established New York City real estate law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of real estate litigation experience to join its litigation practice.

The attorney will handle sophisticated real estate disputes in New York Supreme Court and commercial litigation matters , with the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility for cases and work closely with experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Handle real estate and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery demands and other substantive legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
• Manage discovery, court appearances and conferences
• Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on active matters

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of real estate litigation experience
• New York Bar admission
• Experience litigating matters in New York Supreme Court
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage matters and deadlines
• Commercial litigation experience involving real estate disputes strongly preferred
