The DEXA Technologist / Radiologic Technologist performs bone density testing and body composition analysis for general adult, sports and fitness, and metabolic health patients. This role supports accurate imaging and patient care while ensuring results are properly documented for review and interpretation by a radiologist, endocrinologist, or metabolic specialist.

Responsibilities

• Perform DEXA scans, bone density testing, and body composition analysis.
• Position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain DEXA and radiologic equipment.
• Conduct quality control procedures and support image quality assurance.
• Follow radiation safety and protection protocols.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide attentive patient care.
• Document results and procedure information in electronic medical records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in DEXA and radiologic technology.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• State radiologic technologist license.
• Knowledge of DEXA imaging, body composition analysis, and radiographic positioning.
• Understanding of radiation protection and image quality assurance.
• Experience with patient care and electronic medical records.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
