Corporate Controller / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's financial strategy and planning initiatives
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital requirements
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
- Manage audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships
- Partner with executive leadership to support business growth and profitability
- Support acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and business development efforts
- Lead and mentor accounting and finance team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience managing audits, banking relationships, and risk management
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus
- MBA and/or CMA preferred
- CPA not required
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, distribution, or similar operational environments
- Experience with Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) is highly desirable
