Locums Emergency Medicine Physician in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan - Flexible Schedule, No Call

Cover seven emergency medicine shifts per month in 12-hour blocks with day and night options, no call, and APP coverage during peak hours.

Practice & Cases

• Emergency medicine for patients of all ages
• General emergency cases with trauma coverage available
• Procedures typical of an emergency medicine setting
• Solo physician coverage with an APP available during peak daytime and evening hours

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Day and night shifts available
• Four-day minimum coverage stretches preferred
• Holiday coverage only when scheduled and agreed upon

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years in Emergency Medicine
• Active Michigan license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Drive-in physicians only due to unreliable flight access
