Candidates must be within driving distance or willing to stay in a hotel Monday through Friday.**# **Responsibilities*** Assist in the implementation of safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations* Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety-related matters* Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures* Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans* Assist in developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures* Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations and adapt programs and policies as needed* Other duties as assigned# **Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred* Must be willing to work a night shift schedule* OSHA-30 certification preferred* Experience with traffic control/protection or work zones preferred* Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification preferred* 2+ years of experience in a safety role, with construction experience preferred* Strong knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and best practices* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities* Experience developing and implementing safety programs
