Accounting Specialist Tryfacta is seeking an Accounting specialist for our client in El Paso County, CO. This is a temporary contract assignment. Position Title: Accounting specialist Location: El Paso County, CO Duration: 6 Months Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm with half hour lunch (12:00 pm-12:30 pm) Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Process accounts payable by receiving invoices, verifying the appropriate expenditure lines, routing invoices for approval, and processing payments via p-card or submitting them to Finance for check or ACH payment. Performs data entry into databases as needed. Assists with resolving problems associated with accounting-related functions, such as the processing of invoices and purchase orders. Verifies p-card purchases are in compliance with County policy and procedures. Serves as backup to the department's Customer Service Representative by assisting with work orders submitted to the department. Performs other duties as required. To be considered for this position, you should have: Knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information. Must be detail-oriented and ensure accuracy in work. Must have excellent organizational skills. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, fax machines, printers, copiers, and calculators.
