Medical Assistant (MA) Evansville, IN Overview Our clinical research site in Evansville is seeking a Medical Assistant to support volunteer patients participating in clinical trials. This patient-facing role calls for someone warm and personable who can build genuine rapport and make volunteers feel welcomed throughout their visit. New graduates and experienced MAs are both encouraged to apply. Position Offers Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Competitive pay: $19–22 per hour (DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement savings plan with match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Key Responsibilities Greet patients and take vital signs Perform phlebotomy Obtain medical histories and current medication information Count used medication for clinical trial documentation Conduct EKGs Maintain accurate and timely documentation Build rapport with volunteer patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience Qualifications Active, current Medical Assistant licensure in Indiana Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Comfortable performing phlebotomy and EKGs Warm, patient-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal skills Spanish language skills a plus, but not required Why Join Us Join a clinical research team where your warmth and clinical skills directly shape the experience of volunteer participants.
