Shift Details:

• 4x12 Nights
• 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13–16 week contracts
• Every other weekend
• No call required

Patient Population Includes:

• CHF
• COPD
• Sepsis
• Renal failure
• GI bleed
• Stroke/CVA
• Pneumonia
• Diabetes
• Surgical recovery
• Telemetry patients

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• BLS and NIHSS required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• ACLS
• Epic charting
• Charge RN background
• Community hospital experience

Skills Utilized:

• Telemetry monitoring
• IV starts and line management
• Chest tubes
• BiPAP/CPAP & HFNC
• Wound vacs
• Blood administration
• Hemodialysis management
• Rapid response/code support

Additional Details:

• Ratios: 1:6
• 36-bed unit
• Navy blue or white scrubs
• Floating may be required to nearby campus
• Up to 7 days RTO allowed
• NC or Compact license pending accepted
