A private family is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeper to help maintain a beautiful family residence. This unique part-time position (25 hours per week) includes a private apartment with a separate entrance , offering an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours along with comfortable, independent living accommodations.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean, organized, and welcoming home. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, discreet, and committed to providing the highest standard of household care.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of general housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and maintaining an orderly home.
• Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and caring for fine clothing, linens, and specialty fabrics.
• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the residence.
• Assist with household organization and help ensure the home is always guest-ready.
• Occasionally supervise the visiting children of extended family members.
• Provide transportation or driving assistance when needed.
• Work independently while communicating effectively with the family regarding household needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a private residence is required.
• Excellent professional housekeeping references.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience caring for fine garments, delicate fabrics, and quality household linens.
• Comfortable around horses and enjoys being around animals.
• Previous childcare experience with excellent references.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Compensation & Benefits

• $40,000 annual salary for a 25-hour workweek
• Private live-in apartment with a separate entrance
