Pay: $22/hr | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Temporary Assignment

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Sherman, TX 75092 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and exceptional service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required)
  • Electrical repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Appliance diagnostics and repair
  • Carpentry and general maintenance
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation.
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Requirements

• EPA or HVAC certification required.
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
