Clinical Screener II – Bilingual LCSW/LCPC (Required) Full-time Compensation: from USD 79534.7 - yearly La Rabida Children’s Hospital provides specialized, family-centered health care to children with medically complex conditions, disabilities, and chronic illness. The hospital offers primary care, specialty services, and rehabilitation for children with severe medical needs, and provides forensic and treatment services for children exposed to abuse and neglect. Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities (90%) Administers the Integrated Assessment screening/interviews to children (ages 0‑18) who are DCFS youth and caregivers/foster parents, parents and other adults who are part of the child’s life to determine required services, treatment, and supports. Administers all required tools based on age/role of each client and submits reports to DCFS per federal/contract mandate. Writes the IA template report on all cases summarizing historical information and integrating interview data, medical records, court information, and data from other child welfare agencies. Participates in weekly reflective supervision with Clinical Supervisor. Maintains communication with the Permanency Worker, supervisor, and family members throughout the interview/screening and writing process; provides clinical consultation as needed. Attends and participates in the LRCH IA case consultations, presenting cases for consultation and providing feedback to others; prepares for and participates in monthly training discussions. Administrative and Case Management Responsibilities (10%) Participates in quality assurance activities. Participates in research activities as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Illinois LCPC, LSW, LCSW, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work. Psychologist must have completed an APA‑accredited internship in clinical child or pediatric psychology. Three years of post‑graduate experience with children served by this program; child welfare experience highly desirable. Valid Illinois Clinical License and Driver’s License. Excellent verbal and written communication and high level of computer skills. Excellent communicator and team player. Bi‑lateral Spanish language skills highly preferred. Employee must maintain automobile insurance with recommended liability limits: automobile liability/$100,000 per person per accident; bodily injury/$300,000 aggregate per accident; property damage/$50,000 per accident; automobile medical payments/$1,000 per person. This grant‑funded position is not eligible for hospital‑issued increases. If grant funding is diminished or ended, the position will be terminated.
