MRI Technologist

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, performs studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable exams, and work across different sites. Responsibilities Ensure proper patient and equipment preparation for imaging procedures. Conduct imaging studies independently, including during on-call and portable situations. Qualifications & Skills Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent. Licenses & Certifications: Valid registration as Radiologic Technologist (R.T. (R)), with additional certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES preferred. Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred. Additional Skills: Willingness to cross-train in MRI, CPR, and intravenous therapy certifications are advantageous. Key Duties Perform advanced imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients. Maintain quality control and ensure patient safety during imaging. Handle on-call duties and work in various clinical settings as needed.
