In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, creating the opportunity to globally grow both brands together./ppBuilt on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking a Set Up Technician to join our team and support our continued growth./ppThis role will be involved in setting up machines/auxiliary equipment to manufacture plastic parts in the injection molding process in the production of cooler related products to standard and goals./ppEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliHang molds and set up auxiliary equipment to run in a safe, productive, and efficient manner and that production activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures./liliEnsure safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in the required time./liliSet molds in a timely manner as recommended by management./liliOperate crane to replace molds./liliForklift to molds./liliRemain current on forklift training and certification as required by supervisor, manager, and/or Igloo Safety./liliComplete paperwork./liliPrimary responsibility for the monitoring and control of assigned process./liliPrimary responsibility for the set-up and bring up to specification of assigned processes./liliPrimary responsibility from the seeking of solutions for technical problems associated with assigned processes./liliInterface between Methods, Tooling, and Maintenance related to assigned processes./liliVerification of tooling, instructions, and materials prior to use on assigned processes./liliPromote Safety and Quality and Environmental awareness./liliPerform process verification prior to job commencement./liliEnsure all labor and machine timesheets are completed accurately and submitted as required./liliEnsure work area(s) are maintained in a clean and organized manner./liliEnsure that scrap is minimized through process enhancements./liliStop the production of non-conforming products as recommended by management./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpWhat do we offer?/ppYou are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges. High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task./ppAdditional Job Considerations These roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours.
