Position Title Recruiter, Campus & Early Career Position Location This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond, VA hybrid/in-office applicants. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days on site in Genworth’s Headquarters office (with flexibility for additional days to meet business needs). There will be an expectation of frequent travel to schools, career events, and conferences. Your Role As a Campus Recruiter on the Genworth I CareScout Talent Acquisition Team, your primary focus will be the support and execution of campus recruitment and early career development programs, with additional recruitment support as business needs evolve. You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing on-campus recruiting activities at multiple colleges and universities. You will play a key role in building Genworth I CareScout’s internship, externship, and development program offerings while ensuring positive experiences for candidates and internal stakeholders. What You Will Be Doing Drive the full campus recruiting lifecycle for interns and entry-level roles—job postings, candidate screening, interview logistics, and offer delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with college and university career centers, student organizations, and campus partners. Represent Genworth I CareScout at career fairs, information sessions, and other on-campus or virtual recruiting events. Engage students and candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle to deliver a positive, inclusive candidate experience. Assist with planning and executing campus programs such as internships, externships, and early career development programs. Partner with hiring managers to align on hiring needs, timelines, and interview processes. Support employer branding efforts, including campus marketing materials and social media outreach. Analyze recruiting data and help identify opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Play an active role in Employee Resource Groups – and leverage these groups to build community partnerships that will impact our employment brand and campus recruiting opportunities. What You Bring At least two years of campus recruitment, college/university career services and/or relevant Human Resources experience. Full-life cycle campus recruitment experience highly preferred. Passion for engaging students and early-career candidates, while proactively building talent pipelines. Proven ability to attract passive candidates and build proactive pipelines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and client relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Track record of initiating and driving process improvements. Willingness to travel for campus events up to 75% during peak campus recruiting seasons. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems a plus.
