Job Summary:
This is a Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position located in Utica, New York. The role involves caring for obstetric, gynecologic, and neonatal patients, and requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with rotating shifts, including days and nights.

Job Details:

• Shift: Variable Shift 3x12 hours, with the minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 4-5 years of experience in labor and delivery, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), obstetrics (ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum), gynecology, newborn care, Epic/Electronic Health Record experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic/Electronic Health Record systems, ability to float to medical-surgical, pediatric, or adult floors if needed; flexibility to work days and nights
• Float: Float rotation may be required to medical-surgical, pediatric, or adult floors if needed
• Additional Information: The unit consists of 18 beds, including triage, ante-partum, operating rooms for cesarean sections, recovery, and labor and delivery beds. RN ratio is 1:1 to 2.
