Maintenance Mechanic I

Responsibilities The Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for completion of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment problems, removing and adjusting defective parts. Work closely with senior mechanics to acquire a better working knowledge of the equipment they are responsible for. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Team Lead. Authorities Stop equipment operations if unsafe conditions are identified. Escalate unresolved or repeated maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager or Team Lead. Request replacement parts or materials needed to complete work orders. Reject the use of unsafe tools or defective equipment.
