PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM, Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours total)

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist will be responsible for the delegation and direction of all therapy services and will design functional treatment programs aimed at effectively helping patients return to community activities. Education of patients, families, students, and coworkers is a key responsibility, along with maintaining professional standards and conducting all duties in accordance with the organization's mission statement and core values.

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Ensure medical record documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and timely.
• Provide therapy services under signed physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs by providing guidance and evaluations.
• Develop and pursue a professional growth plan through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of services.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
