Job Title Physical Therapist Location TX | Inpatient Rehab Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Expected 40 hours/week Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address all barriers to discharge, including timely equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program issuance, and planning for continuing services Effectively manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs, demonstrating flexibility in all aspects of caseload management Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Participate in the student program as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision, development of learning objectives, and completion of student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Texas Demonstrated competencies necessary to perform job functions in accordance with population served criteria Ability to ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval as required Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling, infection control, and hazard reporting Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting Familiarity with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity Active involvement in professional organizations, continuing education, and community advocacy efforts Why Join Us Work in a structured inpatient rehab environment that prioritizes both patient and employee safety at every level of care Opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary team while actively pursuing your own professional development and growth Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 794419.
