Byrd Institute - RC1511 Job Description The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC) is accepting resumes for an Accounting Specialist based at MAMC in Huntington. Responsibilities Will assist in day-to-day financial and administrative operations. This position reports to the Director of Finance at MAMC. This position requires strong technical accounting and budgeting skills. Duties include: Processing invoices and travel reimbursements for payment Reconciliation of purchasing card reports and knowledge of purchasing policies Coordinating travel for MAMC staff Processing billings to MAMC clients and check deposits Supporting employment administration and human resource processes by posting open positions to PeopleAdmin and tracking applicants Responding to customers, clients and management concerning grant related activities Other duties as assigned to support grant related activities Location: OTHR - Other Off-Campus Location Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 based on education, experience, and internal equity Required Qualifications Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Office Management, or related field. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Prior experience with accounts payable and receivable Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively Preferred Qualifications Education: BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Experience: Knowledge of fund accounting policies and procedures Prior experience in finance in manufacturing, non-profit, or educational related entity Familiarity with revenue recognition and grants management accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
