Role Summary Bilingual Front Desk Associate will engage families, provide a welcoming first‑class experience, and manage front desk administrative tasks for the medical team. Responsibilities Greets families professionally both in person and on the phone. Answers patient/family questions and seeks clarification when needed. Uses empathy and active listening skills in difficult interpersonal situations. Supports patient care quality initiatives as directed. Coordinates escalations and urgent issues to ensure timely and complete resolutions. Collaborates with site leadership to manage complex patient issues. Employs PM Pediatric Care core values to help patients, families and team members navigate systems. Monitors and manages patient flow throughout the waiting and registration process, assisting families with self‑registration. Stays current on workflows, responsibilities and technology through ongoing education. Registers patients and maintains accurate patient accounts by recording demographics, insurance and financial information while complying with HIPAA. Manages incoming patient documents, mail and correspondence with proper documentation and storage. Maintains confidentiality and privacy of all patient accounts per HIPAA guidelines. Performs opening and closing duties, including organizing, stocking, sanitizing and reconciling. Executes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Team player who can work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible schedules and occasional travel to another site. Excellent customer service and telephone skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and friendly demeanor. Quality focused and detail oriented. Able to calculate simple figures such as adding receipts, counting cash drawers and giving change. Outstanding time management, organizational and critical thinking skills. Superior situational awareness and ability to react to urgent situations. Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of medical insurance preferred. Socially perceptive and able to relate to children and their families. Comfortable with routinely shifting demands. Ability to navigate multiple computer systems. Front desk, concierge, customer service or hospitality experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
