Welder Level 1 - Final Assembly

Welder Level 1The individual in this position will work as part of our Manufacturing Team to assemble and weld different vehicle products. Ensures that assigned assembly functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures and that quality standards are met or exceeded, and that related documentation is accurate and complete. Foster and promote continuous improvement and work a positive work environment.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for assembly of subassemblies, purchased, manufactured and finished goods for deliveryCommunicate effectively/appropriately with team members, leads and supervisorsRotate to different workstations to achieve a balanced line flowEffectively and accurately use VMI, Kanban cards, material withdrawal forms, stock, fabricated, and special-order parts so inventory counts are correctWill need to assemble water pumps, foam systems and front bumpersWelder aluminum, steel and stainless steelInstall PTO's, drivelines, hydraulic hoses and tire chainsInstallation of trim and lightsMust build to meet customer spec. and NFPA complianceWill assist in truck operations to pass third party testingMust be proficient within 30 days after starting positionEducation and/or Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Prefer minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing. Prefer High School Diploma or GED equivalent1st shift, Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
