Janet Clemmons Center 282 N Fair Ave Hamilton, OH 45011, USA Travel Required : Yes Description · Administer all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, COBRA, retirement-related, and voluntary benefits, ensuring accurate enrollment, eligibility, and compliance with plan requirements. · Lead annual Open Enrollment, including HRIS configuration, plan setup, testing, employee communications, enrollment processing, vendor coordination, and implementation of benefit elections. · Manage benefit reconciliations, carrier invoices, payroll deductions, employer contributions, and vendor file feeds; identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely benefit administration. · Review and approve qualifying life events and benefit changes, ensuring appropriate documentation, eligibility, effective dates, and compliance with plan provisions. · Maintain comprehensive knowledge of benefit plan designs and provide employee education and training; prepare premium projections, cost analyses, and plan impact scenarios. · Monitor, provide support, request appropriate documentation from family members and providers, and submit documents to the Department of Job and Family Services (JFS) regarding Waiver Individuals to maintain their Medicaid and Food Stamp Benefits each year. Completes and maintains all JFS Authorized Representation paperwork.** · Act as a liaison between the County Board of DD and Job and Family Services to assist with any issues that arise with Medicaid applications and waiver eligibility. ** · Maintains all appropriate records associated with waiver and Medicaid eligibility. ** · Demonstrates a sense of teamwork and cooperation by working cooperatively and maintaining open communication with individuals, family members, team members, providers, and other agency, professional, and community members around Medicaid eligibility. · Provides technical support and information to individuals, families, staff, individual providers, and others regarding benefits. ** · Provide support to waiver individual’s and their teams to resolve any potential loss of Medicaid status. ** · May need to travel to meetings sites and Board Facility to obtain and process all required documents as needed. · Assist in providing in-service training for co-workers and/or providers from other agencies. · Participates in committees when appropriate. · Work with community social services’ programs and agencies as well as government benefit programs available to individuals with DD. May travel to locations within Butler County Qualifications Skills Required Communication Expert Organizational Skills Expert Time Management Expert Education Required Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field. Experience Required 3 years: Experience in benefits administration, accounting, payroll, finance, or a related area, including financial reconciliation responsibilities.
