Security System Installation Technician

We are seeking motivated Security Systems Installers to support a growing pipeline of commercial security projects throughout the Charleston area. This is a great opportunity for individuals with low-voltage, structured cabling, or security installation experience who are looking to expand their skills within the commercial security industry.

In this role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of security technologies in commercial environments while working alongside experienced technicians and project teams.

What You'll Be Working With

• CCTV and IP Camera Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Card Readers and Badge Readers
• Door Contacts and Sensors
• Magnetic Locks (Mag Locks)
• Electric Strikes
• Push-to-Exit Devices
• Low-Voltage Cabling Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Install cameras, access control devices, and other security equipment
• Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling
• Install and wire door hardware, readers, locks, and related devices
• Terminate and test security system cabling and components
• Read and interpret project drawings, device layouts, and construction plans
• Troubleshoot and resolve low-voltage and security system issues
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
• Support project timelines and ensure successful project completion

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, SC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
