Travel PACU Nurse (RN) - Winston-Salem, NC

Deliver compassionate and expert care as a registered nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) services. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in a PACU or critical care environment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergent situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:

• Full-time hours
• Flexible shifts required based on surgical schedules

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients for stability, pain management, and potential complications
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and recovery teams to deliver timely interventions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Provide clear patient education and support to families regarding post-surgical care
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition, escalating when necessary
