Sales Account Executive (salary + commission) Join our Lamar sales team in Billings, Montana to develop innovative outdoor advertising campaigns for local and regional brands. This role blends marketing insight with sales excellence to build long‑term advertising relationships. What’s in it for you? Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule with paid holidays and a blend of office and field sales. First‑year earning potential of $60,000 – $64,680 (including commissions); no commission cap. Responsibilities Meet and exceed sales targets; monitor personal sales data and reports. Target businesses in the assigned area and visit current Lamar clients and competitors. Maintain knowledge of local and national competition; cluster accounts for efficient use of time. Identify growth areas; open new accounts and develop sales proposals. Use Lamar computer tools to research prospect information, follow up on leads, and prepare presentations. Present to clients on a regular basis and develop presentation skills. Actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows. Perform administrative duties: maintain weekly and monthly sales plans; follow up on client orders; keep organized records. What we’re looking for in you Comfort with cold calls via phone and in‑person. Ability to deliver oral presentations and explain policies clearly. Resilience in response to rejection. Education and experience Current, valid driver’s license required. College degree preferred. Prior outdoor advertising sales experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. CRM experience preferred. Physical demands and work environment Combination of office work and field sales calls. Light lifting, visual tasks, limited sitting ( Occasional nights away from home; less than 10% of time.
