Clinical Supervisor (Teacher Education) Location: Ramapo College of New Jersey, Mahwah, NJ – Adjunct/Part‑Time (JobNumber:202300048) Job Summary The Clinical Supervisor observes and mentors Ramapo student interns during their Fall and Spring Clinical Practicum Placements. Observe interns interact with students and teach lessons. Communicate and collaborate with the intern’s cooperating teacher bi‑weekly. Provide oversight and evaluation of edTPA lesson plans, where applicable. Maintain close contact with interns at least once a week, offering pedagogical coaching and guidance. Offer technological guidance for remote teaching and learning as needed and stay conversant with distance learning pedagogical skills. Complete nine Observation & Conference reports in line with each formal observation. Complete two Clinical Competency Inventory reports of student dispositions and submit all required reports to the TE data management system. Share reports with students after each observation. Grade the intern at the end of the academic year in both dispositional and content‑related modalities. Education Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree is preferred. Experience Experience in supervising, consulting, or otherwise working in an elementary or secondary school in contact with classroom teachers is required. Demonstrated expertise in the field of education is required. Five years of experience in the field of education is preferred.
