Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, aligning with department objectives.
- Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
- Perform patient evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans; apply appropriate clinical techniques and tools.
- Deliver therapy interventions using approved protocols and ensure clear discharge plans are communicated to patients, families, and the care team.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
- Supervise assigned therapy assistants and support staff as appropriate.

Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree; licensure to practice physical therapy in applicable states (CA or eligible state) required.
- Active Physical Therapy licensure in the appropriate state of practice.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Minimum two years of recent experience in physical therapy.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an acute care hospital setting and meet the demands of a travel assignment.
