Registered Nurse – Emergency Room – Travel (ER RN) Job Overview Start Date: 8/3/2026 | Available shifts: 12‑hour days | Pay Rate: $1699.00–$1804.00. Join our team at a Magnet‑recognized teaching hospital in Charlotte, NC, delivering comprehensive emergency services. As an ER RN, you will provide clinical care in a fast‑paced environment, requiring a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of recent emergency room experience. We look for strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in a Level I trauma center and additional certifications such as TNCC or CEN. Travelers will have secure, private housing and 24/7 support through the AMN Passport mobile app. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; manage patient acuity and triage; document care in the electronic medical record. Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, Emergency Room At least 2 years recent emergency room experience Valid RN license (compact accepted) BLS, ACLS, PALS, CERT‑NIH Stroke Scale, CERT‑Crisis Prevention Intervention certificates Travel experience: at least 1 assignment in a general setting SSN and DOB required for background check One recent reference (within the last 12 months) Skill checklist within the last 12 months Willing to float within the region; region 2 includes Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital) Shift: 12‑hour nights Preferred Qualifications TNCC certification preferred Prior travel assignments Location Charlotte, North Carolina – the largest city in the state with vibrant culture, parks, museums, and dining.
