Customer Service Representative

This job is located at 430 Beach Street, Revere, MA 02151 PLS — which stands for People – Location – Service — is a leading retail provider of financial services. Through our check cashing stores, we provide consumers with convenient financial products and services to help them manage their day‑to‑day financial needs. Position Overview Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are the primary point of contact with our customers. They are the “face” of PLS and are accountable for delivering superior customer service, educating customers on our products and services, and maintaining company quality standards in compliance with all policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business Educate customers on our products and services Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations Follow company policies and procedures Maintain a balanced cash drawer Complete all transactions accurately, including cash handling Use the point‑of‑sale system to access information and process transactions Resolve customer complaints or refer them to the Store Manager for resolution Help maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers and team members Perform other duties as instructed by management Job Requirements Previous customer service experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant is preferred Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers Ability to offer products and services to customers based on their needs Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi‑task Professional appearance and demeanor Honesty and integrity Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays English fluency is required English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels Benefits Benefits for eligible team members include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, vacation, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing training.
