Senior Engineering Manager - Site Lead

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Single Use Division site in Millersburg, PA. This role combines technical expertise with people leadership to drive manufacturing performance, automation strategy, capital investment, and continuous improvement across a complex manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute multi-year engineering, automation, and capital investment roadmap aligned to business priorities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives improving manufacturing performance, equipment reliability, process capability, and quality
- Champion automation and digital manufacturing technology implementation to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Build and develop high-performing engineering teams while establishing succession pipeline for critical roles
- Monitor key performance indicators including OEE, MTTR, RFT, and support new product introductions and process validation
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments
- Strong technical expertise in manufacturing engineering, automation, and facilities
- Experience with capital project management and strategic planning
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- People leadership skills with ability to recruit, develop, and mentor engineering teams
- Track record of driving cross-functional change and operational excellence
