Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must have an active RN license in the state of practice Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 - Ability to float as required - Weekend coverage every other weekend Description: This position offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The RN is responsible for all aspects of tracheostomy care and management. The RN will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system. Experience in managing dysrhythmias and non-invasive airway management is essential. The RN must be capable of oxygen administration and peripheral line care. This role requires the interpretation of dysrhythmias to support patient recovery. Applicants who have been in a similar position for less than two years are also welcome to apply. Participation in Rapid Response and Code teams is expected as part of this role. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, and the RN may need to float to different areas as necessary. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications and a valid nursing license in hand before applying.
