Customer Service Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Customer Service Representative will support the outside sales team, operations team and customers with prompt service, accurate order entry, on-time delivery of product and effective issue resolution when necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate customer requests for sales opportunities
- Manage customer orders and quotation files with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate and expedite customer orders, and ensure customer requirements are understood and customers are kept informed of relevant issues
- Maintain a proactive approach to customer complaints, requests to expedite, and any other customer issues
- Work closely with sales team and dispatch team to facilitate flow of information regarding quotes, quality issues, deliveries, prospective accounts, competitors and customer feedback
- Provide feedback reports to the Main Office and Supervisor regarding customer contacts
- Learn/Operate CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) with comfort and clarity
- Follow-up on customer quotations
- Operate in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills and great personality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and apply independent judgement
- Basic email and PC functions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services
- Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customer
- Self-motivated and results oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven successful sales record
- Oil + Gas industry experience a plus
- 3+ years' experience in Customer Service or related field
