E Sports Coach

The Park Rapids School District is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an E Sports Coach at Park Rapids High School for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of competitive gaming, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. This role involves coaching students in various E Sports titles, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive gaming culture within the school. Responsibilities Develop and implement training programs for students participating in E Sports competitions. Coach students in strategy, teamwork, and individual skill development for various E Sports titles. Organize and lead practice sessions, ensuring a structured and productive environment. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Collaborate with school administration and parents to promote the E Sports program. Organize and participate in local, regional, and national competitions. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages sportsmanship and respect. Stay current with industry trends, game updates, and competitive strategies. Maintain equipment and ensure that all gaming setups are functional and up to date. Assist in recruiting new players and promoting the E Sports program within the school community. Requirements Previous experience in coaching or competitive gaming is preferred. Strong knowledge of popular E Sports titles and gaming strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for practices and competitions. A passion for gaming and a commitment to fostering a positive environment for student athletes. Relevant certifications or training in coaching or gaming is a plus.
