We have an immediate opening for an experienced Plumber and Helper to service residential and commercial clients in Bloomington, IN . You must have extensive experience performing repairs on different piping systems, snaking drains, fixing leaks, and installing pipes and water heaters. This is a great opportunity to join a company that has been serving the community for over 40 years.
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Compensation for a Helper starts at $18.00 an hour; experienced plumbers start at $30 p/hour
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing problems and perform repairs
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs
- Install household appliances such as dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, and sinks.
- Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper function
- Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of plumbing experience is required
- Valid state plumbing license is a plus!!
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required
- Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
- Expert knowledge of piping and ventilation systems
- Available to work on call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies
