Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary, 100% on-site position. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and working with 2-way and/or 3-way matching in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and approval
• Perform 2-way and/or 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
• Research and resolve invoice, pricing, and payment discrepancies
• Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
• Maintain vendor records and support 1099 tracking and year-end reporting
• Assist with AP reconciliations and general ledger-related activities as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
• 1-2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger concepts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Must be comfortable working 100% on-site
• Must be open to a temporary assignment
