Responsibilities As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will: Prospect and service Schwab clients by providing wealth management and financial planning advice Grow your practice over time through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals Work in a team setting to support clients and leverage Schwab specialists and guidelines You will be responsible for maintaining regulatory licenses and adhering to the firm’s business practices. Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to complete the SAFE Act background check and registration process. Required Qualifications A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as required during tenure Preferred Qualifications Ability to build strong relationships, engage clients, and deepen relationships by applying a focused client communication strategy Ability to leverage Schwab specialists, guidance frameworks, market knowledge, and the capability to inspire action toward client goals Willingness to manage wealth for clients across Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning Ability to adapt to market and business changes Commitment to community engagement and sharing investing principles and strategies with clients Desire to deliver an exceptional investor experience while pursuing professional development in Wealth Management What’s in it for you Schwab empowers you to shape your future through meaningful work, continuous learning, and a culture of trust and collaboration.
