Automotive Technician

Role Overview: The Junior Automotive Technician performs basic vehicle diagnostics and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, brake, suspension, and alignment work. They utilize multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions accurately, conduct safety and emission tests (where applicable), and follow all safety procedures. The technician is responsible for adhering to company policies, maintaining a safe work environment, and demonstrating flexibility in scheduling, including weekends. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates need at least 2 years of automotive technician experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and obtaining a State Inspector License is advantageous. Physical & Working Conditions: The role involves exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform movements such as bending and kneeling. Vision requirements include detecting color and depth.
