Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

About the Role

An established New Jersey commercial law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support its busy real estate team. You will work closely with attorneys on sophisticated transactions involving developers, property owners, investors, and lenders, helping move deals from due diligence through closing and post-closing.

What You'll Do

• Order and review title commitments and surveys, and help resolve title objections.

• Prepare closing documents, maintain closing checklists, and coordinate funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions.

• Manage due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active matters.

• Coordinate post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items.

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies while managing work with limited attorney oversight.

What We're Looking For

• Five to 15 years of recent, continuous commercial real estate paralegal experience at a law firm, including New Jersey transactional work.

• Hands-on experience with title, surveys, and managing commercial closings from start through post-closing.

• Broad real estate experience beyond residential closings, with experience in both transactional real estate and land use work.

• A stable employment history, strong attention to detail, and polished written work product.

• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in Roseland, New Jersey.
