Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency department required, previous travel experience (at least 3 months) required, rural/small facility experience required. License: Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association PALS Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: - Two years of ED experience - Previous travel experience - Rural/small facility experience - TNCC certification is highly preferred - Must have own vehicle Description: From broken bones or cuts to extensive trauma, our team will promptly diagnose and treat patients or stabilize them for inpatient admission or transfer if needed for more extensive or specialty care. The medical team includes nurses and physicians specially trained in emergency medicine. This team is specifically trained to treat all types of medical emergencies. We do our best to attend to everyone immediately; however, we prioritize care based on those in the most critical state. The emergency department features noise-buffering sliding glass doors in each room, privacy curtains, flat-screen TVs, and seating for family and friends. The department encompasses several triage rooms, treatment rooms, trauma rooms, dedicated pediatric and psyche rooms, and a private consultation room. Our specialized, dedicated decontamination area has a large storage area filled with supplies to handle emergency responses to hazardous contaminations within the community. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and weekend after. All travelers uploaded must note when they can be reached and have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail set up will be redirected when contacted.
