Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient care, located in Merced, California. This outpatient position requires candidates to bring their California license on the first day. The role encompasses diverse patient populations, including adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary conditions, as well as pediatric to geriatric outpatient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Merced, California
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA license for Physical Therapy, BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), minimum of 2 years of experience, and ability to work the specified schedule
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric inpatient and outpatient populations, pediatric and geriatric patient experience, and knowledge of vital Stim therapy (as needed)
• Float: Yes, float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Role involves outpatient therapy at an off-site center, inpatient acute hospital care, wound care therapy, and support for geriatric and pediatric patients. There is participation in early mobility programs, stroke certification (NIH), TJP, and vent early mobility level 2. The facility operates 24/7 RT and pharmacy services. Orientation includes general department skills checklist and floor-specific training. The position may include float coverage for inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.
