Estimator/Project Manager

The Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from initial bid through completion. This role combines cost estimating, client communication, and project execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities


Estimating & Pre-Construction

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and budget forecasts
• Identify project risks and recommend cost-saving opportunities

Project Management

• Oversee projects from award through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Track project costs, change orders, and overall financial performance
• Ensure compliance with project scope, quality standards, and safety requirements

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, and cost tracking
• Manage client expectations and resolve issues proactively

Operations & Documentation

• Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, and reporting
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
• Ensure all work aligns with company procedures and industry standards

Qualifications


Required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• X years of experience in estimating, project management, or both
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost structures
• Experience with estimating software and project management tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
