Key Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and develop warehouse staff to build a high-performing accountable team culture.
- Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable to defined standards.
- Oversee the full hiring and onboarding process for warehouse personnel.
- Develop document and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows.
- Drive adoption and effective utilization of ERP systems across all warehouse functions.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts organized storage practices and proactive reconciliation.
- Track analyze and report on key operational KPIs to identify trends and drive efficiency improvements.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure consistency accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales purchasing and accounting teams to align warehouse operations with broader business goals.
- Proactively identify and implement scalable systems and processes to support operational growth and transition the warehouse from a reactive to a structured process-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team development experience within a warehouse distribution or operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through periods of operational growth and change management.
- Strong process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement accountability and operational efficiency.
- Experience working with ERP systems and leveraging performance metrics to drive decision-making.
- Ability to operate primarily as a strategic leader while remaining willing to support operations hands-on when necessary.
- Track record of building scalable warehouse processes and transitioning reactive environments into structured efficient operations.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
