Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position in Boston requiring prior travel nursing experience and pediatric cardiac care background.

Details

• Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a major children's hospital
• Patient population includes children and adults with congenital heart disease requiring critical care
• 13-week travel contract
• Schedule options include 50/50 day/night rotation or permanent nights, working 3x12-hour shifts
• Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
• Required to work 3 out of every 6 weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to MSICU, MICU, NICU, and ACCU

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac ICU / CVICU / CICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience caring for pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Provide critical care nursing to a complex cardiovascular pediatric population in a high-acuity environment
